Meet Daniela

Daniela's clients get better. Her primary treatment modality is Humanistic Therapy. She understands just how challenging life can become. So learning how to navigate through life's troubling winds is important to our existence in that -- we write our story.

One of Daniela's many identifying skills as a therapist includes how individuals feel helped in identifying ways to positively fulfill their needs. Her clients are empowered to unpack, visualize and internalize what is important for them to feel like strong functional individuals.

Daniela deeply understands that client's life experiences shape them as individuals, yet within us we control how we react and choose how we will live our lives. Further, she has a clear understanding of a person’s thoughts and emotions promote the process to discover within us tools and skills and then develop these tools and skills. This motivates clients so they will invest their emotional energy wisely. The mind is powerful and how we use it is essential in our daily lives.

Daniela has a real talent working with teens. She concurrently is working at an alternative high school. Her clients at this site receive crisis intervention along with mental health services for teens whom may not have these services available elsewhere. Her case load  includes teens with behavior issues, teens experiencing  pregnancies, Suicidal ideation, PTSD and works with teens with substance challenges and plays a supportive role in the person's recovery from drug and alcohol treatment.

Daniela's clients come to understand what depression and anxiety are and what these do to a person. By guiding teens she helps them find healthy coping skills that work for them, along with setting goals for self-awareness and improvement as they prepare themselves for life's adventures after high school.
